"I started working summers and weekends with a millwork shop in Ireland when I was 14 years old and I took an immediate liking to working in the industry. I enjoyed learning all the different aspects of the shop; from working on the shop floor to the draughting department to the installation and completion of the projects. I was lucky to get to learn from and work alongside some seasoned carpenters. The shop was mainly focused on retail and commercial work so most projects were very different designs which brought their own challenges.

I've spent time living and working in Australia and America, it was great to see how other places approached the millwork and carpentry industry and I learned a lot from those experiences.

I moved to Calgary in 2012, my first job here was working for a millwork installation company in the Bow building, there I got to work on some really unique projects. It was after this in 2013 that I set up Bespoke Millwork Inc. focusing on commercial and retail millwork. Over the last 10 years my team has grown and we have completed lots of recognizable projects."
